Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Komjey, an all-in-one microloan and lending management platform ("Komjey", the "Service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance & eligibility

The Service is intended for lenders, loan officers, microfinance institutions and their authorized operators ("you", "the operator"). You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. By using the Service you represent that you are authorized to do so on behalf of your lending business and to bind it to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Komjey helps you run your lending operation in one workspace, including:

  • Customer (borrower) management and profiles;
  • Loan creation, scheduling and status tracking;
  • Payment recording and balance tracking;
  • A real-time portfolio dashboard;
  • A collection calendar;
  • Automated reminders via SMS and Telegram;
  • Document storage and management;
  • Reporting and exports.

We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the Service.

3. Your account

You may register with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and verify your email address where required. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may request deletion of your account at any time from your account settings. Requesting deletion logs you out and schedules your account — together with the borrower data, documents and other records stored under it — for permanent deletion. During a limited recovery period you can reactivate your account by signing back in; after that period the account and its associated data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered, except for limited information we must retain to comply with legal obligations.

4. Operator responsibilities & borrower data

You decide what information to record about your customers (borrowers), which may include their name, phone number, address, national ID number, guarantor details, photographs of identity documents and collateral, contracts, loan amounts and payment history. You are the controller of that borrower data. You represent and warrant that you have a lawful basis and any consent required under applicable law to collect, upload, store and process this information in Komjey, and that you will handle it in accordance with applicable data-protection and consumer-lending laws.

We act as a processor that stores and processes this data on your behalf so you can operate the Service. See the Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • conduct lending or collection activity that is unlawful, predatory, or in breach of applicable regulations;
  • upload data about any individual without the authorization or legal basis required to do so;
  • upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
  • use the Service to harass, threaten or unlawfully pressure borrowers or guarantors.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers to function, including Google (for optional Google sign-in), Cloudflare Turnstile (for bot/abuse protection at sign-in and sign-up), and SMS and Telegram providers (for delivering reminders). Your use of those features is also subject to the respective provider's terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Komjey is a software tool and does not provide financial, legal, tax or regulatory advice. You are solely responsible for your lending decisions and for compliance with the laws that apply to your business.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Komjey will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, and may request deletion of your account from your settings as described in Section 3. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Komjey is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Specify governing jurisdiction.]
